  DFC Support Program Applicant Workshops

Friday, February 12, 2010  |  8:00am - 3:30pm

Each year, with the release of the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program Request for Applications (RFA), the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), in cooperation with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), hosts a series of grant application workshops throughout the country. The purpose of these workshops is to assist community coalitions who are interested in applying for DFC funding.

Community coalitions that are addressing youth substance use are invited to attend this free workshop on the elements of the 2010 DFC RFA. The workshop will include an overview of the DFC Program, how to establish evidence for meeting the statutory eligibility requirements, completing the Federal forms within the application, and responding to the questions within the RFA.

Participants should come to the workshop expecting technical assistance related to the RFA only. Participants should have read and re-read the RFA and be prepared to ask questions specific to the RFA itself.

Please note that there is a separate registration process for these workshops. Click here to register.

If you have questions related to the applicant workshops or the DFC Program, please feel free to call or email. You can also visit the DFC website at www.ondcp.gov/dfc.
