CADCA's 2010 National Leadership Forum

The Greater Metropolitan Region is served by three major airports: Ronald Regan National (DCA), Dulles International (IAD) and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI). CADCA is pleased to offer its Forum attendees and guests with airline and rental car discounts. Attendees are encouraged to call or email our preferred travel agency, Quality Travel Services, for reservations. Quality Travel has negotiated special fares with American Airlines and Avis Rent A Car for the Forum, and they'll check all other airlines and rental car companies for the absolute lowest rates. Quality Travel has also lowered its standard service fee to ensure the lowest possible costs for attendees. Included in their services are: 1-stop shopping, access to a 24-hour emergency service center, timely travel updates with continued attention to all reservations, and friendly, efficient, experienced travel consultants.

The Gaylord is providing vans for ground transportation from Reagan National Airport for a fee, until above ground Metro is available. CADCA-sponsored buses are also available from the Union Station - look for Chariots for Hire. Once above ground Metro is available, CADCA-sponsored vans will be provided from the Eisenhower Metro Station, running from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Eisenhower Avenue Station Shuttle (Metrorail Yellow Line)
Hours: Noon-7:00pm Sunday; 7:00am-7:00pm Monday-Thursday

CADCA will provide continuous shuttle service between Gaylord National and this station. The shuttles will pick up and drop off at Gaylord National’s Maryland Ballroom Entrance. Community Prevention Day and Forum attendees must show their badges to the drivers when boarding the shuttles. This service is complimentary (no fee).

King Street Station (Metrorail Blue & Yellow Lines)
& Old Town Alexandria Shuttle (King St. & Route 1)
Hours: 6:30am-9:00pm Sunday-Thursday; 6:30am-10:00pm Friday-Saturday
Gaylord National will provide continuous, 30-minute shuttle service between Gaylord National and these locations. The shuttles will pick up and drop off at Gaylord National’s Main Entrance. The cost is $5 each way.

Washington, DC Shuttle
Hours: 8:00am-9:00pm, Daily
Gaylord National will provide continuous, hourly shuttle service to the Old Post Office (1100 Pennsylvania Ave., NW) and Union Station (H St. & 2nd St., NE). The cost is $13 one-way or $20 round-trip.

Average temperatures for the Greater Metropolitan Region in Feburary range from 30°F to 47°F. It can be challenging to control the temperatures of large ballrooms and meeting rooms. Please come prepared dressed in layers.
